Pat specializes in new, resale, bank owned and short sale residential and multifamily real estate in the Phoenix area. A licensed realtor since 2001 Pat started her own brokerage in 2007. She has a bachelor degree in Business from University of Phoenix, Broker's License, ABR and MSSC in addition to extensive real estate training. Her professional affilitations include the Southeast Valley Association of Realtors, Arizona Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. She has traveled extensively including Australia, China, Ireland, Israel, the Philippines, Malaysia, Canada, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Prior to entering real estate Pat spent 20+ years in the electronics industry including 17 years at Intel. Pat is originally from Ohio and moved to Phoenix in 1979. As a 30+ year Phoenix area resident Pat has extensive knowledge of many of the communities in the greater Phoenix area. In her spare time Pat enjoys hiking, cooking, reading and herding cats.
Victor Flores
Sales Person
Victor just recently obtained his real estate license. He is excited to be entering the real estate industry when so many great buying opportunities exist. Victor has a bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. Victor spent many years in the electronics industry working for Fortune 500 companies like Intel and Motorola and General Electric. He recently developed applications for the iPhone and iPad called iBuyhomes and Art Creator. He is a member of the Southeast Valley Association of Realtors, Arizona Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Originally from Pachuca, Mexico he immigrated legally to the United States in 1975. After graduating from college Victor spent many years in Austin, Texas before moving to Phoenix in 1988. He has traveled extensively including Ireland, Israel, Australia, the Philippines, Malaysia, China and Jamaica. Victor is an avid table tennis player, scuba diver, hiker, wild life and scenic photographer and speaks both Spanish and English fluently.
Karen Van Vugt

Karen Van Vugt has been a licensed realtor since January 2007. Karen joined the company to handle Home Owners Association (HOA) and property management. Karen manages 250+ single and multi family properties all over the Phoenix area. Her professional affilitations include the Southeast Valley Association of Realtors, Arizona Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Prior to getting her real estate license Karen had a long successful career in the restaurant industry as general manager for companies like Black Angus, Marriott, Blue Burrito Grill and Einstein Bagels. Originally from Ohio, Karen has lived in Texas and California but is happy to call Phoenix home. Karen and her husband Brad enjoy trying new restaurants, back yard BBQs and cooking.
Helen Hiesel

Helen has helped many new and experienced homeowners since becoming a licensed realtor in April 2008. Helen graduated from Arizona State University and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She raised four successful children in the East Valley and volunteered extensively in the Gilbert school district. Professional affiliations include the National Association of Realtors, Southeast Valley Association of Realtors and the Arizona Association of Realtors. As a strong community advocate, she devoted many years to serving the East Valley through The American Red Cross. Helen enjoys the multi-cultural environment the Southwest offers and her love of the Arizona desert community has contributed to her passion for a more environmentally friendly home ownership experience. She welcomes all those interested in real estate through her natural ability to share, assist and educate.
Tiffany Van Vugt

A native of Arizona Tiffany joined 1st Southwest Realty in June 2011 to assist with property management. Tiffany is an aspiring artist, has been featured in several exhibitions and has been published in several art magazines. Tiffany has completed 2+ years of college at Glendale Community College and Arizona State University studying art. She is a member of the Southeast Valley Association of Realtors, Arizona Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. In her spare time Tiffany enjoys working on her art in different mediums including photography, oils and pen and ink.
